I'm pretty new to this site so i figure, hey? why not throw up my blacktails from previous years? the more BTs the merrier! everyone was taken with 20 gauge slugs from 50 yards or less. oldest from newest, from top.

those are some damn fine blacktails ... looks like you found a hell of a spot that will keep producing nice bucks, if it is some ground that only you get to hunt or there isnt alot of pressure i would start a serious mineral plot, you will see a differance in a few years in their antlers, welcome to the site and congrats again on some nice bucks

A mineral plot aye?.... i've thought about it before, but i've read in the past that blacktails dont cooperate with plots, but your words seem certain, so I might give it a whirl, thanks for the advice!

Where's 09 and 11 bucks? jk, Way to go! 20ga slugs put em down good don't they? If you "still hunt" 99% of your shots are under 50 yards anyways so a 20 ga is perfect for that. Do you hunt in a firearm restricted area or do you just prefere to hunt with a shotgun for blacktail?
