O.k I hit it really hard today ..went up around MT.Baker where I thought i would have a chance at a bobby but after countless set ups and walking my butt off I tried one more spot and I was calling for about 10 min .When I saw 2 dang nice ones running down the logging road which is gated and no one has been there in months So Let them get about 100 yrds when all the sudden the wind changed and they did a 360 and headed back up the way they came from So I took a deep breath as the lead dog hit the crosshairs I squeezed and all I saw legs and lots of hair flipping around in the snow  :chuckle: :dunno: I jacked out the shell and pulled up on the other one which was pushing 200 or better and squeezed again to watch the bullet hit right in front of it ...dang an inch lower it would of been behind the head  :bash: A coyote is the only animal I do not get pi$$ed when I miss but nock on wood I do not miss many  :chuckle: :tung: Well this is another dandy and I will be honest with ya they DO NOT GET MUCH NICER THAN THIS ON THE WETSIDE

Nice, very nice it's tough to hit them runners. Still looks like he is alive just staring at the camera.

I think that bobbing and weaving is in the DNA of the dogs out here.  Seems they don't run a straight line anymore.  Sometimes I think I'm better off shooting a round in the dirt to scare them into it  :chuckle:

Thanks Tripps, a guy in Idaho did the taxidermy work.  Very nice looking dog Bowhunter, he's got some really good dark features.

VarmintVentilator, that thing is awesome... I called the taxidermist last night to see what the possibilities were of getting a mount similar to yours & he told me that mine was a little to tore up for that...  :bash: :bash:So I guess I will have to find another one...

Swag, that really sucks, it's hard to keep from tearing those little critters up to bad with a bullet.  Hope you get another one.  This one of mine is the only fox I've ever seen on the ranch, but I didn't like him walking around my house and other buildings looking for his meal.  (chickens, kittens and such.)
