Evening of bass fishing!!
« on: July 07, 2008, 11:08:03 PM »
Well Me and My girlfriend had a good night out bass fishing. I out fished her so I will sleep good knowing that!!!! lol....But she did catch the first 2....Was a little worried for a little bit...But ended up boating 11...most of em small but a few descent ones mixed in...I have never seen bass so active as they were today...I was using top water lures and could see multiple fish coming at the same time....Well here are a few pictures!!!!   Sorry they are cell pics so bare with me...

I had to put my foot in my mouth soooo bad too....I was casting down this canal and had tons of trout hitting my lure...My girl friend grabs a rooster tail out of my tackle box after i insisted it wouldnt work. Well she caught 2 bass on it instantly...Not one trout hit the damn thing...They were more interested in the messed up minnow on the water....Lol.....I got the big "told you so"....Could only smile about it!!!

Nope not minkler, its a little slough closer to concrete!!! I dont think it even has a name. My dad showed it to me as a kid and hadnt been back until last night...I had probably 40 bites in it....The weeds havent taken off yet so it is great for little spinners but even better for my favorite top water!!!

I was thinking the same thing. I was just there last night!

Looks like good times. I haven't targeted bass yet this year...I'm missing out!
I left it better than I found it...did you?
I hunt animals because veggies are too easy to stalk.

Now thats a familiar looking lake. There are some REALLY big bass in that lake. Not at all easy to catch though. The biggest ones that I know that have been caught there are in the spring during the spawn and then again in the fall just before the lakes cools down.
