:twocents:      It's pretty sad when so many individuals blindly claim some sort of unethical hunting when a "native" posts harvests on this website.  Actually I am growing pretty tired of it, as a newer member.   I can understand frustrations with the few rotten apples out there, but to see some of the accusations thrown about in these posts is absurd and somewhat ignorant.

Hairtrigger,
Nice! I sure love the bases on your ram. Who cares what your buck scores. He is a dandy.

Who cares how far off the road it was or what it scored it's a very nice buck. I think some of you guys can understand though why someone would be a little bitter. Myself, I have been trying to draw the YTC tag for about 10 years now and it's frustrating to see people just go out there anytime they like year after year while at the same time watching tag numbers fall to next to nothing. I know it's not your fault, it's your right and that's just the way it is. I would probably do the same thing. But when you have a privilege that others do not simply because that's what you were born into, you are going to have to expect some animosity and jealousy. Especially if people feel like those privileges are being flaunted. That's just the way that is. But anyway, congrats on the nice animals.

The only unethical part about this is he doesn't have to wait 3,6 8 years to wait to draw a tag or when he finnally does draw have a limited amount of time to hunt.  I consider myself a very dedicated hunter, I put everything into hunts when I do finnally get drawn. Now if I could hunt the way the tribes do, and I chose to, I could cover this web site with pictures of all kinds of animals. Now it's a nice deer but what sucks is he can turn around and go kill 20 more if he wants and even if it was against his tribes rules the state could do nothing to him. Not saying he is that type of guy but when an indian post his kills on the site most of us are thinking, big f'n deal, cause he has every chance in the world to kill any animal he wants. Thank god we all don't have those privlages. Again, nice buck but if we all had your rights then you wouldn't see an animal out there.

I didn't see anything wrong with him sharing his harvest and I nor for that matter any other Tribal Members that are forum members here post all kinds of pictures of animals.  The only ones I've seen posted were by non-members showing "unethical" Tribal Hunters but not anybody here now or for that matter since I've been here.

First of all, I wouldn't call anything you did unethical. And I also know a few people that have been drawn multiple times out there while I on the other hand have never been drawn. But, we are all still playing by the same rules and I guess they are just plain lucky. Where as the tribes play by a completely different set of rules. Apples and oranges. But it is what it is.

Agreed as far as not being unethical and it appears by the pics provided there are bucks out there that are of trophy caliber.  Those that have the tag should take that as incentive to keep their hopes up and keep looking.
