Got a NEW BOW!!!!
« on: June 07, 2008, 12:45:59 PM »
I broke down.I went down to xxx archery in rainier oregon last night just to shoot and compare the x-force to the other bows ive shot lately.Over the last week I shot alot of differnt bows and after I shot the x-force I loved it,so I bought it :).It does have a little hand shock but a string suppressor  will cure that.they had one set up that way at the shop and it I didnt notice any hand shock.I wasnt sure about the 6 inch brace height either but I shot the dream season which is 7 and it shot the same to me.It does have a harder draw cycle than some of the other bows I shot but I think thats a sacrifice for the speed.I have'nt conographed it yet but im willing to bet its shoting around 320 fps.Now I just got to sell that bengal so I can get it set up.

It is sweet.  Wish they felt right for me.  Grip was a big one for me, but that could have been fixed.

Im selling those sights with my Bengal but I had to shot it. Im thinking about going to a single pin adjustable sight.I shot one the other night and liked it.I not sure what you mean about the grip though :dunno: im pretty sure its smaller than the bengals.

Yeah, it is a comfort thing.  I am not too fond of the grip on my Bengal either.  Tried the Sims Tentacle wrap on it, but that does not do the trick.  Thinking I need some custom grips to make it feel right.  The grip on my Hoyt just fit my hand and was comfortable to shoot.

I just installed the King Cobra I sight on my bow.  Loving it.  One pin set at 20-25 and I am in the kill zone out to 40.  Can aim a little high or low to get into the black on the targets, or just slide the pin to the correct yardage.  1 pin is nice for the feild of view with no distractions.

Its not just the limbs that are ugly, so is the riser.  But an elk, deer, or bear wont notice that.

+1    But I Hope it shoots great for ya.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.

My hunting Partner just bought the PSE X-force SS with the 26" axle to axle. Feels like you could put it in your back pocket. Too Short for me, but it is a sweet and fast shooter for him.
