Bowtech package resale value?
« on: December 06, 2011, 12:39:30 PM »
unfortunately due to shoulder issues I am going have to get rid of my bowtech destroyer 350 and all the accessories I bought right down to an almost brand new GlenDel 3D buck.
its a bummer since this critter will stack arrows at 70 yards.

I know how much I paid for the whole shebang last summer, but Im not sure what I can get for a lightly used bow package, as I would prefer to sell everything (even the target) as a package. I would even be interested in swapping the whole deal for a decent Over and under shotgun.

besides our classifieds where else would be a good place to try and sell /trade this? I am thinking local listings would be the best for a trade situation. I have yet to come across a Bow Broker site or Bows america.

bowtech destroyer 350 60#@28 (warranty registration blank)
shark caliper release
trophy taker drop away rest
black gold 5 pin site
5 arrow detachable quantum quiver
stabilizer
sling
7 Vforce carbon arrows
6 uncut goldtip carbon arrows
plano hard case
glen del buck (not even broken in yet)

Archerytalk.com would be another good place to list it or maybe a local bow shop would put in on "consignment" for you?  The target might be harder to include in the package, but it's worth a try.

you know I totally forgot about CL... or maybe I blocked it out.  wouldn't they flag me for removal if I said I wanted to trade for a gun?

Hmm...possibly. I've seen other ads that talk about trading for things that go "boom" or "boomsticks"...don't know if they've been flagged or not but I'd give it a shot. Archerytalk has a ton of traffic but be ready for people from all over the country trying to make the purchase.

I have traded 2 of my bows for rifles on CL. Never once been flagged.

I've also posted a rifle on CL for trade for a bow. I got flagged within 2 days. But a trade was made before I got flagged. I would have just posted it again if I hadn't already made the trade deal.

My semi custom weatherby might be goin on CL and in the classifieds here for trade for a compound pretty soon
