has anyone here tried......

The stabilizers or back tension releases that are being sold on craigslist? There is a guy in tacoma selling some pretty nice looking stabilizers and back tension releases for $15 each. He says making them is his hobby.....I may have to pick one of each up and give them a try if no one here has yet.

First and only time I shot on I punched myself in the face and launched an arrow into the sky.

I'm sure you didn't. However.......I still would have and that is all that matters. Sheesh...can't believe you are thinking about yourself.

I heard of a guy that hit himself right on the button and lights out for him.  Boy would I feel silly if I knocked myself out.

\
Shooting indoors last year at WIlderness Archery, the guy next to me had his release fail about 3/4 to full draw... hit himself in the mouth and the arrow went careening off the ceiling.... Needless to say it is awful hard to try to focus on the target when you are laughing.  He didn't think it was too funny though.. LOL
