Anyone have a benelli vinci
« on: December 13, 2011, 11:15:07 PM »
I am thinking about buying a benelli vinci. I was wondering if anyone had one I could meet up with at a range and try it out? I would pay for a few rounds for you to make it worth your while. Just trying to shoot one before spending a lot of money. By the way im in snohomish county and wouldnt mind traveling to far.
Thanks

Its to bad, last week I sold 2 beneli Vinci one was brand new, they are great shotguns the reason I sold them I wanted the new Super Vinci which is chambered for 31/2" shells.  If you buy one make sure you buy the Super Vinci.

If having the 3 1/2" is crucial for you then yes be sure to get the Super Vinci. Many ducks have fallen to 3" shells though, depends on if it is worth the extra cost for him to be able to have the added capability of 3 1/2" shells  :twocents:

Boots is right you dont really need 31/2 in shells for Ducks , I shoot 3" only on ducks but some times you might get a chance to hunt geese and I think those 31/2 shells would help a little more then the 3"shells although I have killed 100s of geese with 3" shells, I just think it would be nice to have a gun that you could shoot all 12ga  shells.

I never shoot 3 1/2s and dont think I will really ever need to. The reason I like the vinci is because of its operation. Im not sure which one I will get but I am concerned with the normal vinci's grip it seems a little small.

All you need is a .20 gauge with 2-3/4" shells.  But if your not that great of a shot, I guess the more shot you have down range the better your crippling odds!  Joking.  Some kill ducks and some just like to kill them deader.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!
