Waiting to get the Wyoming regs to see if they go up this year. Either way, puttin in for Wyoming elk, Idaho special elk and deer, over the counter elk if I don't draw.  This is getting expensive!!!!
“In common with”..... not so much!!

Wy regs are out.  Go take a look.

Normally I'm in a bunch of states, but I see that both AZ and NM have joined UT and OR in making you buy a hunting license first, before you applay for a tag.  Ouch!  More $$ not coming back after I blank the draw.   So, we'll see how the finances hold up over the next couple of months.

NM's license is $60. If I read the regs correct, you can have your license cost refunded if you're not drawn for anything. There is still like a $20 fee that comes out of the tag though. I believe AZ is about $150 for NR, and I dont think that gets refunded.

Wy regs are out.  Go take a look.
...

Thanks! I will.

On page 4 of the NM regs, under "Important Information:"

Quote
7. Hunters Are Encouraged to USE IT!
Hunters who are unsuccessful in the drawing are
encouraged to keep their Game-hunting License
and use it for hunting small game during open seasons.
If requested at time of application, refunds will be offered
for the Game-hunting License, but NOT the combination
Game-hunting and Fishing License. Refunds will be
issued in May.

Anybody?  :dunno:

Bean,  my bad!! I was looking and thinking Arizona and not NM..

Then I realized AZ has had the license thing foing for seveal years already.   You're fine my friend, I on the otherhand am obviously trying to get drawn in too many stats and getting way to confused.

Dang,  either that or the rum cake was reallllllllly good this year.

Merry Christmas
