The guy signs up and says " if you have any questions  or want to talk to give him a call" I take this as a guy looking to help someone out with an awesome tag, not everyone holds to your lofty views of a self sufficiency, some people who pull these tags don't have a clue about what they are getting themselves into, or they may live in Illwaco and not have the time to scout, either way I thought this site was above the lowest level of judgement as found on other sites(MM), if you have a problem with someone thats fine but why don't we give people the benefit of doubt before they get ROASTED after only making 7 posts.

I personally talked with Brian and he is a young nice guy, he does not know much about the Huckleberry unit, and he admitted so!
That means something, he could have just blown smoke up my arse!

No offense, but for me the whole fun of the experience was doing something that I had never done before and learning along the way.  I am really proud I did it on my own and felt a sense of accomplishment.  That being said, many don't have the time/effort/desire to do it that way and a guide is necessary.  I did everything on my own from picking out the tag area to grinding my own moose meat.

If thats considered roasting........I'm sorry.  My point was I like to do things on my own.

I was hoping this would die because maybe I did jump the gun a bit.  I PM'ed him and I think we have worked this out privately.  

That being said, I jumped on him because his first post seemed to indicate he wanted people to sign up with him and another post made it seem like that was the only way you could get a big bull.  I don't think that was the purpose of his post, it just came accross wrong to me at first.  After that he has now posted great pictures of big moose and has contributed to other threads.  I took care of this via PM with him.  This really isn't my place, as I'm not a moderator.  I'll assume my place as a member and stay out of issues like this.

Let's get back to talking about big moose and those huge sheds pendoreille has posted...

I understand that people like to do things there self I have spoke with pope in a pm and we have a understanding I didn't mean to rub anyone the wrong way. I am just a hunter that wants to help. If you have drawn a tag for a unit other then 117 or 113 give me a call would be happy to give you some pointers. 509-998-0268. as you can see from the post I know what I am talking about. I love to hunt as i am sure you all do that's why we are here. I work a 9 to 5 job and have had a guide service for the past few years. I love to hunt and I hope that one day the guide service can be my full time job. I have a wealth of knowledge when it comes to moose if you want my help i here to give you guys a hand if you want to do it yourself more power to you but I was just letting people know that my services are available. I didn't know that I could post my guide4 service with out being a site sponsor sorry if that offended anyone I have spoke with a mod am in the process of trying to become a site sponsor. so if you want so help give me a call. we can talk moose or what ever else you want to talk about I just love talkin huntin!!!!!!!

Hi Brian,  :hello:thats's an awesume offer and I'm always willing to listen to a knowledgeable hunter. Haven't visited the site of yours yet but I will.
I used to be a prostaff  member of Quaker Boy Calls and do lots of calling of game.I've been on 3 guided moose hunts and have yet to get a chance at a moose so, this time I'm gona try it on my own( if you don't count the friends  :hello:who are comming out of the walls to join me!) We'll have lots of scouts out there on the hills to find old Smokey amoose you can bet I just hope they don't dissipear when it comes time to pack it out! OH well, I'm gona find muleskinner! I can't wait to enjoy the whole experiance!! STB

Yup! I did finally. Made a copy to look at and put the origional in the gunsafe I will be over there scouting tomorrow!
