To all-----I heard this rancher speak last June----and he and OSU Range Extension have some Excellent data------The problem is this type of research should have been started 15 years ago !!!!!!!!!!!------Why was it NOT done sooner??????----Because certain people did NOT want it done !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!----------Why is it being done by OSU Range Extension??????-----Because the wildlife people will NOT do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!-----In fact, the state wildlife agency has refused to allow OSU Extension to GPS collar additional wolves BECAUSE THE RESULTS HAVE BEEN SO DAMAGING, OR DAMMING to certain groups------------Charles

Some people spend their entire life wondering if they made a difference. Marines don't have that problem.

Wish I had the money to move to a state without wolves.  North Carolina has been calling me for about a year now

The south east probably not the answer.  Had a buddy chased by feral dogs to his car behind a locked gate, no carry, had to wait several hours for them to get bored and leave before he could open the gate.  Scads of deer though.

I'd give up western mule deer, blacktail, and elk in a snap to be able to pay $500 for a lifetime license.  That lifetime license allows me to fish, hunt bear, boar, coyotes, and hunt deer during ALL weapon seasons from Sept-Jan. and shoot 6 deer during archery, 6 deer during muzzy, and 6 deer during rifle.  No wolves and a state that knows how to handle it's animals for the benefit of hunters
