Is blind side any good?
« on: December 30, 2011, 05:05:21 PM »
I picked up a box of #2 for ducks, I have not heard anything about it besides the shot is hex and it has a higher packing density. Whats your thought about it? :dunno:

I went today ( 1/2/2012 ) it was slow but we got a few, blind side worked but I think its just as good as all the rest! Will have to try it a few times before I can make a decision. :)

I believe he was talking about the overpriced shotgun shells.  On the other hand she was great.

what I want to know is - are they really stacked all nice and pretty like the ads depict? I couldn't bring myself to cut one open to find out but I still wonder from time to time.
and if so who is the poor bastage that has to stack all that shot :chuckle:

Was not impressed eather, bought three boxes of them when the first came out and were very slow and didn't pattern very well at all, when back to shoting the cheap ones and have had way better luck.

If you can shoot it doesn't really matter in my opinion.  I shot Kent for the last 8 years or so and have had no complaints.  I tried the Blindside and it hammered them as well.  I know guys really seem to like Hevi-Metal as well.  Hell I shot Xpert's in Canada last year and in five hunts we shot 360 or so birds whatever a guy feels comfotable with.

I patterned them and they pattern well but not alot of power behind them at 40yds...... I used a mossberg 935 terror choke .740 40yds 30" circle.
I placed several fresh targets on my plywood and when I was done I peeled the targets to throw away and had several blindside pellets that did not penetrate the wood.  My buddy has a case and was a little concerned but now seems to like them....So far he's getting fairly clean kills with not much crippling...

I used a box and it was okay. I like to stick to black cloud. If you buy a couple of cases and get the discount its the same price as the cheap stuff.
