Talked to a fish biologist and he thinks the fish were flushed. Terrible fishing so far this fall and winter.

talked(shortly) to a fish biologist that didnt say much about them getting flushed over, but said the bank fishin was improving. Doing better than the boaters, (that were contacted). Good enough for me!

Well it was pretty slow where we were(near two rivers), my friends son got one to the bank! and my son had one on that wrapped up around something and got off, it was pretty cold out and started to snow on us abit.  Both of our sons are 4-5 and are well on their way to being fishin fanatics!! So it was a pretty good day, but fishin was a bit slow. Heading to a new spot to give it a try!

Word on the bank north and south of Daisy is as much as 60% of the average sized fish ( 16 to 20") were sent through the turbines last year as they lowered the lake.....very slow so far.

I have been out and the fishing is alright.  I caught over 200 rainbows last winter.  I went out the other day caught three in 20 minutes.  The bite was tough.  I have a hard time beleiving they were flushed.  Here are a few from last week.
Wild Turkey, Walleyes, Whitetails and Wapiti..These are a few of my favorite things!!

Also my son made this edition of NW sportsman an article about how they think the fish were flushed.  I think the best fishing is to come and I will prove it!  I would try Banks Lake if you want a good fish.  Trout are biting pretty good also.  Here is a pic of my son last week.
