That's awesome! Makes my stomach sick to know my freezer has been empty since August and will remain that way until August!

I'm killing a bear opening week just to fill the freezer.

Hey DB just curious how long did it take for you to get it back from Crown's? I took my buck in the day before Thanksgiving and haven't heard back from them yet. I should give them a call, maybe they were super busy!

Definitely give them a call. I took my wife's buck in on 12 December and mine in on 13 December and got them both back today. I will say they are extremely busy. I would figure they would go first come first serve but perhaps they get so many carcasses in that it is too difficult to track that  :dunno:

Ok yeah I will definitely do that. I've been taking deer in there for years but I don't ever remember it taking this long. I normally just get german and therringer made up but this year I switched it up. I'm getting german, therringer, jerky, pepper sticks, and some steaks so maybe thats why.
