Buck I did not shoot
« on: January 05, 2012, 09:27:03 PM »
The buck I wish that would have walked in front of me instead of my brother. Try as I might Blacktails both Sitka and Columbia of any size have eluded me every time. Have taken several spikes and web fork, but nothing bigger than a two point. Many times they have stood and watched me until I nearly stepped on them only to bolt and not get a shot off. Have learned over the years to slow down and glass more, but have not had the time to pursue them as much any more, so I have old pictures to remind me of what the good days are like to keep me going for the next season. Even if it was not me that shot it.  :)

I knew that feeling last year. I shot a decent 2 point after missing a shot at a monster so had to redeem myself. Later I took my buddy and his brother into my spot, the brother shot a great 2 point and my buddy killed a giant 3 point.  :bash:
