Entire day... Only one fish was on by another fisherman. We moved from hole to hole. We hit a nice hole targeting the tail out. I use eggs that I cured myself. My son does not have much confidence in my eggs. So he used different jigs. Well, that hole it was getting last light. I tossed my eggs in and my 4th or 5th cast I have a take down. I pull back and say fish on. My son says you lucky son of a gun. 5 min later the fish is on the bank and it is a dandy hen. Later to find out she has eggs. Double bonus... I walk over and load up some more eggs and next cast fish on. 5 min later it is a native. SOB... And very carefully release it with out touching the body. Go back to reload eggs. My son is now feverlishly tying on a pretied leader to load up on eggs. My son makes one cast and fish on. Cast and cast some more then a take down and fish on and that was the little buck. My son lost his fish about 2 min into the fight. I am then tagged out and I am just loading bait on one pole after another. Than cleaned the fish while my son fished and than it was time to head home as we left Puyallup at 2 AM drove to Pullman dropped his stuff off than headed to the grande Ronde. I was pretty tired and I had to drive home. Oh, I also had to stop by Safeway and Wallmart to by my son food and other stuff. And I could not get out of there without buying him dinner. He knows how my milk his parents. I had to take a few naps on the way home as I could not keep my eyes open and ended up at home at about 4:30 AM.
