Broadhead question?
« on: July 19, 2008, 04:25:20 PM »
Howdy
I have been shooting the same set up for years with pretty good results but I feel it is time to update.  The last batch of Thunderheads that I bought seem to plane if there is any wind at all.  I was told that it was because the new ones are now made in China and their tolerances are not as good.  I am looking to switch to Slick Tricks and Blazer vanes from standard.  I want to stay with 3 vanes.  My question is are the 4 blade Slick Tricks going to interfere with the 3 vane blazers or would I be better off sticking with 3 blade broadheads?
Thanks

Thanks for the help!  I havent had to buy arrows or broadheads in close to 8 years, so I am kind of out of the loop when it comes to new stuff.  Just ordered a dozen Gold Tips with Blazers and 3 packs of Slick Tricks.  Should do me for a while.  I cant wait to try them out.
Thanks again.

That's a combo that you'll have a hard time beating.  There's nothing wrong with any of those.
