One suggestion is a use Rain fly from a tent. I was getting ready to throw away my old 12x17 Coleman Weathermaster tent, when I realized the rain fly (obviously waterproof) weighs almost nothing yet covers a 12x17 foot tent. This can be use for a raintarp that covers a very large area that can be rolled up in a small bundle and carried in my pack.Sure beats trying to rig those heavy silver 10x20 tarps, lol

I now know what I'm replacing them with. Thanks
