By the way, it's pretty easy to make. Just copy and paste the recipe, then print it and hand it to the wife...done!

Funny you should mention it... I have a batch of moose chili going as we speak.
2 lb ground moose, elk, or (last resort) lean beef, browned
1 large sweet onion diced
1 diced green pepper
1 diced red pepper
16 oz can kidney beans, rinsed
2-15 oz cans pinto beans, rinsed
1-29 oz can crushed tomatoes
1-29 oz can tomato sauce
1 15 oz can diced tomatoes with garlic
diced garlic to taste (lots)
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 1/2 tsp cumin
1/4 cup chili powder
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp salt
1 tsp oregano
2-12 oz bottles beer (lager)
Place in crock pot and cook 2 hours on high, then reduce to low and cook additional 6 hours. Serve with diced green onions, cheese and corn bread.

Hey ...thats cool glad a few tried it ... I love it ....years of practice
I use honey on just about everything I cook .. Salmon - chili and meat ....take a flank steak and marinade it this way once ....
Get a 1 gal . zip lock bag cut up a onion and garlic .. add onion and garlic in the bag with 1/4 A-1cup steak sauce 6 table spoons of honey- 1 tsp pepper ..and a little touch of olive oil ...and some salt ( 1tablespoon ) shake well then add the steak...let marinade for about 4 to 5 hours ....every once in awhile toss around the bag ... and be sure to get all the air out of the bag too!!! also I heat up the honey in the micro for about 25 sec. before adding it to the mixture ...just mixes better ....cook on th BQ ....Man now I am hungry

I made this today. Used antelope burger. Tasted great. The ladies needed the sourcream to cool the spices to their liking.
Overall - an easy filling meal.
Thx,
