3.5 was my guess as well.  He just hast filled out yet.  There is no shortage of food in the area so he's not missing any meals

3.5 - 4.5? He does look young. Very impressive antler growth, he is a dandy for sure!

It is because when the bucks are in hard antler it is the fall and they are an additional 6 months in age.  When you live only a few years .5 makes a difference.  As far as humans, I hate it when people refer to their kids as being "26 months" etc!

half year old is a yearling to me, still dont see the reason but to each his own. Guess it goes into the same category of counting eye guards  :chuckle:
