Hickory cold smoked thick cut Bacon
« on: January 25, 2012, 09:14:46 PM »
Did about 14lbs of bacon this past weekend.  A few lbs of jalapeno, a couple of regular and the rest is all butcher peppered.  All smoked with hickory and hand sliced for some meaty pieces.

Breakfast is at what time???????
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

That is some very nice looking bacon.  Anybody have a good source for bellies in the south Sound area?  I'm always looking.
Look man, some times you just gotta roll the dice

Nice job.

Got mine from a local butcher here in Spokane for 2.49/lb.  He doesn't usually sell them, more for making and selling his own but ended up with too much so lucky me.
