West side coyotes?
« on: January 26, 2012, 06:45:50 PM »
I was wondering if anyone had any good tips on getting these this critters outta the thick brush here.  I live south of tacoma just outside Eatonville.

Any good tricks would be helpful.

Thank you

This is whats behind my house. It is about 60 yards to the arrow and its a main game trail. This pic is takin from in a tree on my property.  The thicket at the arrow is about 20 yards deep then behind that another little clearing and then beyaond that an old clear cut. And big timber about 60 or 70 yards to the left.

Bait with what?

Would dog food work? Like the cheapest brand they sell?  :dunno:

Bait. Any scraps from another hunt. I freeze scraps from my deer kill for the year and from ducks. Neighbor cats work great to  :chuckle: If I don't have that, then just a call of a bunny.

I actually have some feral cats that I've thought about borrowing and throwing in a small cage as a decoy. Anyone know how to p/o a kitty without actually being there to make it vocal and without hurting it?
