Do you have to be a member of that site to view the video? Can't seem to get it to play? :dunno:
What would life be without the thrill of the hunt?

He said later in the video that the shot was 480 yds. They initially saw him at 1000yds and closed the distance. Wouldnt be too proud of that video if I were the hunter.  :twocents: thats some piss poor shooting if you ask me.

Yeah he said it was 480.  Either he is: short on his estimate or sighted in for 200 and trying to guess how high to hold over or doesn't know the ballistics of the round he is using or maybe even all three.  That last shot hit the dirt it was so low and the 2nd almost missed the deer too.  Not remotely close to anything I would consider good shooting.

Think the first shot was a kill shot..... Sencond was a gut...... Either way.... He got it.... Most rifle hunters aren't "good" shots let alone decent...... Hunted with more then a few..... That's why they carry so much ammo... When I was 11 I use to carry 40 rounds with me.... My Dad always laughed and told me I'd learn one day........ Didn't take long..... One shot one kill....

LOL, that is kind of a low blow.  My 40 rounds isn't for killing animals, usual only need one for that.

It looked like the first shot trimmed his hoof and the second looked like he hit him in the brisket and the third was dirt. He probably sighted in opening morning.
