Lunch tomorrow
« on: July 22, 2008, 09:38:26 PM »
Did a little fishing this evening (bright pink rubber worm thingy on the end of a jig weight) on Sammamish...caught several perch...lost one crappie similar in size to the big one...only kept the two smaller ones cause they swallowed the hook...

Got me some lunch tomorrow. ;)

Saylean, I would have kept them little guys too, even if one is a bluegill, they all go nice batter fried with a cold beer. :chuckle:

When I was about 14 or so I went out to potholes with my grandpa and fished near Mardon's dock. He told me on the way out "I hope you like catching fish" I thought he was just BSing with me. When we started fishing he pulled out three 5 gal buckets and asked you ready? Man alive we were not even needing to cast away from the boat, just drop it over the side and reel it back up. We filled those buckets in about 3-4 hours and spent about 4 more filleting all them out. We had everything in there, perch, bluegill, sunfish, crappie, bass. Love them little pan fish
