Promises you've mad to get more huntin time!!!

What are some of the things that you have promised your significant others during the waterfowl season so you can go out & play (hunt)?
Doesn't have to be a massive compilation or in any certain order of importance, just the facts people & pics are optional.
I'll go first.

Honey, I'll trim it when the season ends, please bear with me on this, you don't want me to end up gettin sick do ya?







Honey, when duck season is over I'll replace the threshold on the back door, this towel works perfectly for now.

the only one that has ever worked for me was:

" Honey I can promise you that I will be one petulant, grumpy-ass, SOB if I don't go hunting soon." she knows I keep my promises and usually can't wait to get rid of me.

It sure does look & feel good while still attatched but the truth is that what lies beneath is just age. Chris Cringle I was & now i'm turning into ole Santa!!!

Grumpyness will sure get anyone out of the house!!!

my girlfriend hunts, the girl grew up in a family thats hunt or kick rocks. her dad was beyond a die hard waterfowl hunter and elk hunter (or bacialy anything he can buy a tag and fill). I'm lucky to say she knows when its hunting season the "priorites" change, shes just grown up to that lol.

As jim said earlier also^^ being a little grumpy to shoo ya out the door has is "risks and rewards" also; get to go hunting cause she wants nothing to do with ya, but when you get back you gotta deal with the wrath thats been brewing all day

Hunting is so ingrained in me that I wouldn't have a woman who didn't understand that when it's hunting season, I'll be hunting.  It was a prerequisite to even dating a gal when I was younger.  Never met a woman yet I'd give up hunting for.

My wife knows that when hunting season comes around, especially birds, she becomes a widow on the weekends. After the season is done I have to do all the girly things with her again, until it's turkey season.

I don't promise a thing. She was for warned before we got married.... Been going good for 24 yrs so why change a thing.

Although Sunday she said .....Isn't it the last day today....ERRRR UMMMM yes it is.
