Walkie talkie with earbuds and PTT mic's????
« on: January 31, 2012, 07:58:32 PM »
Do you guys think they could play a strong role in coyote hunting? I was trying to figure out if it would be a good idea for quieter communication between two people in spotting out yotes, and making moves. Why do you guys think?

maybe not a strong role, but a role that could account for more dogs

A simple sqeeker is much simpler to use, & a heck of lot less hassel...

I would think it would make a difference in that most sets i've done its hard to communicate unless you are REALLY close to each other... Often times we have either not seen yotes and scared them on our way out, or we were waiting for the other guy to take a shot so we could get 2. I think it helps cover your sent and terrain better. Never tried it tho.  :twocents:
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

I have tried it, and it works... It just can be a pain dealing with batteries, dose the other guy have his radio on, the volume being to load, along with just packing something else along are all reasons why I don’t use them anymore.  A simple squeaker works quite well to alert your hunting partner there is a dog moving in, even lip squeaking works.
