I really like how they fixed those photos to show more of the color. I've only seen the antique looking color photos that didn't work out. It's really cool to actually be able to see what things looked like. And the vibrant signs hanging on some of those stores were amazing.

I love these! I like showing stuff like this to my wife to show her how good she has it. She can't understand how good she has it these days.
Most folks are so spoiled and fattened up by a McDonald's diet (figuratively speaking) that they don't know what it has been like over the centuries for survival.

I appreciate what our ancestors went through. I am grateful. I wish I had all their knowledge for basic living. Take a look at the barren ground the Indians lived in - and yet - they survived just fine.

On another note, if hi-rez digital cameras had been around back then, you would see the drool from one guy in the pictures with the mule deer. He is intently looking at them. Heck! - I was drooling just looking at them too!
