But, when writing an essay, or any (graded) paper (usually) begins by separateing the theme (subject) into a few parts (3 is normal)Prepare an outline or diagram of your ideas.1) You tell them what you are going to tell them, Write your statement, or the introduction)2)then in the body of the story, you tell them, Write the body.Write the main points. Write the subpoints. Elaborate on the subpoints.3)then you tell them what you told them...(summarise the conclusion.)
Its kinda a wierd paper she wants us to decribe ourselves as a member of a "distinct tribe".
I belong to a group of hunters that roam the hills of the pacific northwest looking for Roosevelt elk. It is more than just a hobby it is a life style, a brother hood, a tribe of .... (paragraph #2 ) how I prepare...(paragraph #3 ) what I look/listen for...(paragraph #4) what I (we) get out of this experience... (conclusion, paragraph #5 ) how the way I prepare to go look/listen for an opportunity to get what I get out of this whole experience makes me a member of the ( ? ) tribe........ Basic outline, use your own ideas, be as descriptive as possible... change the ideas to what makes you the most enthusiastic about why/what it is you do...If it is something you really believe, the words will come...
