First Steelhead
« on: February 13, 2012, 09:27:07 AM »
so for Valentines day I sent my wife and daughter on a guided fishing trip down the "Ron" on Sunday. This was there first float trip, and my daughters first steelhead trip. The weather was very nice, which was a good and bad thing. Good because it made for pleasant trip, bad because it changed the bite. They did manage to hook a couple and my daughter landed her first steele  :IBCOOL:. I think I have a new fishing partner . I need to thank Mark Hall again. He took very good care of them and they could not stop talking about the trip the whole way home (4 hours) :bash:.

Nice fish!! I'm glad to see the ice is gone, thinking about making a trip this weekend. Had some questions about the river but your pics clear them all up  :)

Congrats to her!  I vividly remember my first steelhead.  IMO one of the best trophies one can harvest.
