Latest trail cam soak. Jan.31-Feb.17.
« on: February 18, 2012, 12:34:24 PM »
714 pics in two and a half weeks. The good news is that the "big 5" made it.

Nice buck and a nice tom!
What would life be without the thrill of the hunt?

I will post a few more photos later when I have a chance. I didnt realize the dates were off. I just switched out this cam with one of those Moultrie m-100's. Hopefully it takes some good pics.

I have a couple close up pics of him DB, and I will have to post them after I get back from monster jam. Im curious to see how big you think he is. The pics I posted just dont do him justice.

Ok here were the last few pics I said I would post. Now any guesses on his size/age. Im thinking 4.5 and maybe a 140 class. I would like to point out that I am far from a pro at feild judging so let me know what you think.

I agree his is probably pushing close to 140 if he is not there already (for whatever reason I always seem to have the most trouble judging clean 5x5's like him). He is certainly a P&Y class animal. It is hard to say on his age because the shots are mostly front view.

Look around! It looks like in the last pic a buck dropped real close  :)

Very cool. Really like the one with the tom and the "butt to the cam" pic is pretty classic.

I would show the next pic with the tail up, but I figured this is a family site.  :chuckle:
