Same up here a couple of big mobs of toms and a couple of groups of hens is all I have seen so far. I have not spent much time out there yet. They didn't want to shock gobble even :o I thought it would be cool to see 10+ birds gobble all at once. HAHA yeah right, they schooled me :chuckle:

We've seen a few flocks on the farm with over 40 toms still bachelored up, and others mixed. Were in the Lake Roosevelt area..Here is a pic of some of the Turkeys at our deer feeders...Will have to pull the feeders pretty soon.

I was out in the hills around Cashmere today and found a flock of 20 or so birds. There were 10 toms in the flock and had no interest in any of the hens. They are still in their winter flocks around here. I wish I had some pics but no camera. All the Toms had 8"+ beards.

There will be a lot of us missing the opener this year so that should help the remainder of the season.

I can hardly handle missing the opener but this time I have no choice.
