The part where I usually get discouraged is after a few weeks of working out hard I start putting on more muscle weight than I lose in fat weight.  It is a good thing because I am gaining the good and losing the bad at a higher rate but looking at the scale brings me down.

Don't let it get you down! I started working with weights after my nightly run on the elliptical this week and I have lost far less this week than the preceding ones.

263
The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.

Thanks!   I usually get over the fact that the scale stops droping so fast after my wife starts hanging on me because I am becoming more muscular.   ;)  An increase of brown chicken brown cow is a great motivator to keep working out!   :chuckle:

Sigh, just down to 263.5,  -.5lb is all.

DANG, I want a snack  Toothpicks and cardboard are starting to look good.  Less desk time would help as well.  No snacky stuff, no treats, make lunches, no prepackaged stuff...I cleaned out the house.  Made beans/ brown rice, veggie soups, dirty rice(brown rice), Jambalaya and ham/beans and some cornbread w/o sugar.  All tastes good but leaves a hole.

Whatta ya mean I can't have one of each?
