Two bears eating grass in the springtime. This video was in the morning. One cub disapears on the right and then decides to rub and paw on the camera. The camera is knocked off kilter and the bear in the background stands up for a look before bolting. About 20 minutes later all three bears show up on another camera (vid coming soon) near their bedding area.

This camera was set up a few hundred yards away from the primary feeding are and when the cub mauled the first camera they ran away and ended up here where I placed a camera on their bedding area.

If you look closely you will see that the sow has a sprig of Salal in her mouth throughout the whole video. Kind of like a toothpick I guess.

While setting up this camera I accidentally busted a bottle of cougar urine in my pack (see bobcat videos) so I sprayed the rest of it on the tree and in the bears bed. Maybe that is why they didn't stick around.
