Tactical Leveraction?

What do you think? I know alot of people hate it, forget it if it's already been posted. Uses? I can see a Hog or coyote gun at night? Or in states where drop magazines and/or Semi's are illegal, I'm getting one in the .22 version when it comes out, anyone know the release date?

Aside from the adjustable stuck and rails, where's the advantage over my win 94? They're both top eject lever guns. Same size. Mossberg might way a bit less but at these weights that isn't an issue. I don't get it. I will admit that I think it looks cool, but I think I like my 94 better. And I only paid 200.

I saw one of these a while back on the Mossberg site. I couldn't stop laughing. I would have never thought that anyone would make a tactical lever gun. I love that they're trying it though. Shooting should be fun, and if this is the gun that gets a guy into the sport then I'm all for it.

My grandpa is crying in his grave though. :chuckle:

Ouuuuch!!! My side hurts, I laughed so hard. :chuckle: A Surefire X400 laser/light combo on the forend and a Aimpoint T1 Micro parked on top, one would be unstoppable. ;)

I'm going to keep my comment to myself, all I'm going say is.  Different guns, for different budgets.

Though funny looking, it is kinda a sweet Idea.  Think about it...you take a reliable cartridge in a small carbine and make it even lighter and more packable.  If I were Mossburge I would market it as a packable survival rifle.  The 30-30 cartridge will take any north American game, ammo is cheap and now you can outfit it with any accessories to survive (flashlight, laser, etc).  I like it.

i think a lever action 30-30 would make a great item to have in a survival situation.

that thing is an abomination though.  i can't stand that tacky-tactical crap.
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun

I can see the flame wars over this one now! Somebody is going to forget to pull the flashlight off of the rifle before getting a trophy pic!  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:
The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.

Bingo. sounds like a good product for those who chose to compromise their God given rights by living in PRC, NJ, etc.
