Kicker Tie Rods
« on: March 17, 2012, 04:09:10 PM »
Anyone have some suggestions for a good tie rod system from a kicker to the main?  I don't need anything fancy but for sure stainless rod and hardware.  It would be for 2 Honda outboards if that makes a difference.  Not sure if tilting would still be an option if it's in place, but that would be nice.  Thanks

catch it. kill it. cook it. eat it.
Forget the bear spray, use wasp killer. Concentrated delivery stream, 10X the product, and only $3.00 on sale.

something else to consider, you can get a new rack and pinion style steering wheel for around 100$. it would take some tinkering, and a might have to make a bracket, and route the cable, but, you could install a helm station that is dedicated to controlling the kicker, and would never have to lean over or anything...

what kind of boat do you have?
