Go to wdfw click on licenses and permits then special permit drawing results and put your wild identification and it will show you what you have put in for and add 1 point for this year.

how many of these topics are we gonna see????

any of those hunts up north are gonna be the ones to apply for, alta, swakane, entiat, mission, etc.....
id look towards the blue mountain foothills for a quality hunt and a chance at a nice mature muley, probably not a 180 in deer, heck that will be hard in those other units but you never know!

Blue Mountain Foothills tag is a whitetail tag.

a couple years ago you could shoot a muley couldnt you? i thought i read that in the book and i was on my way coyote hunting and saw a truck driving up a little road and i happend to look on the hill and see 3 bucks so i stopped and watched. one guy got out and ran up the hill a little and shot the biggest buck, it was a pretty nice muley. this was november in unit 145.

There is a muley hunt in the Blues (at least of a couple of years ago.)  But there is NO WAY that I would use 14 points on it.

Good luck on finding a 180.  It's definitely possible but that's a pretty tall order.

In that past at least it isn't even a "quality" tag just a "buck" tag

Should have turned him in, you could have got 10 points. There is no permit for mule deer in November in 145.

The only November special permits in 145 have been antlerless, and the Blue Mts. whitetail permit. I used to hunt that unit a lot so I paid attention to the special permit hunts they had there.

Didn't Jackelope get a mule deer down there last year in November? Don't know if it was unit 145 but it was in the Blues. :dunno:

Yes, in one of the new Blue Mtn late hunts they have, but 145 is not one of them.

I knew it was somewhere down there, only one tag too if I remember correctly.

Don't let your Slide Ridge experience during the General Season discourage you from putting in for GMU 246.  Most of the Entiat/Chelan herd are migratory and will show up as they move through in November headed for the breeding/winter grounds farther down valley.
