Copalis Spring Bear Hunt Access Permits $100 are not yet available - check back soon.(April 1st)

Rayonier manages over 48,000 acres within the Copalis GMU that have been made available for the Spring Bear Hunt. Beginning April 1 and throughout the 2012 spring bear season (April 15 - June 15), most Rayonier roads within the GMU will be posted with "red-dot" signs. These roads are closed to public motorized use. With the purchase of a Rayonier access permit, you may drive Rayonier red-dot roads within the Copalis GMU. This opportunity is only available to winners of the Copalis Spring Bear special permit drawing through WDFW. The permit also gives you permission to camp on Rayonier land within the GMU; however, ATV use is prohibited.

Sounds like fun, see ya out there if you got a tag!

If the policy is the same as last year you can go if you are with your friend when he gets his permit from Rayonier. You will need a free pass to accompany him.
