That's a heck of a pile of bears! Congrats, Shane!
I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.

Thanks Hirshey. Youre quite the little tank under all that back pack, crawling cross the creek! Im not sure if I could even do that!
:chuckle: Well thanks, I tried... it was about 8 miles each direction, and we made it out the same day I harvested him so I consider that successful. I liked that Eberlestock but am excited to try out a Kuiu pack during scouting and see if it works a little nicer for my small frame. I am beginning to think that any pack will give you hot spots with that much weight on them, though.

I just voted for you guys too. I'll keep doing it. It looks like to me, that you are both dedicated hunters, and push each other to hunt harder. Your video's are enjoyable to watch too. Good luck, and keep posting videos. Maybe some more high country Blacktails.  :)

Thanks!  We do have fun pushing eachother to the limit. Our goal this year is a nice alpine blacktail with our bows.

Headhunter that's a great Oregon buck.
Hirshey good job on yours looks like you did it right. How did the rest of your shed season go after I bumped into you on the hill?

Thanks, sir! The season is still going... I'll be out this weekend for one last go at the muleys, then its down full time in the blues. Unfortunately a lot of my spots this season got scooped by people on snowmobiles. :( Even a ridgeline I usually do really well on in the area I bumped into you (which you know shouldn't have snowmobiles) had tracks almost down to the road from the top. I'm sitting at around 10 horns.. which, isn't really that great for 10+ days of trekking. My mom, however, is slaying it! :) She even has one of the sides of an animal I took some photos of...
