Nice work everyone!

Eyeguard and I had a backcountry hunt in Idaho... ended up pretty successful. Even helped another hunter we met up there into a nice deer. :)

Aaaannnnd one where Eyeguard made mine look bigger.  :chuckle:

I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.

Sorry, I don't know why the photos came through so small...  :dunno: Oh well. Eyeguard's is a nontypical 5x5 and mine is a solid 4x4 with eyeguards as is the other gentleman's.

Great pics and great bucks hirshey, congrats to both of you.  I wanted to ask, what pack are you using in the big picture? Thanks

Dear Hirshey,

I know this may be awkward but I would like to offer my son as a betrothal to you. Granted, I don't know if I spelled that right, he is only 6 right now, is into Lego's more than girls, and you appear to be currently spoken for. However, if you are willing to wait say.....12 years or so.....I think you both would make a great pair. Think it over, sleep on it, let me know.

Just remember, father-in-laws can look but they can't touch...it just gets creepy  :chuckle:

I've been getting around to creating a write-up for that trip... I've just been terribly busy seeing as we pretty much fell right into roosevelt muzzleloader season upon our return. :) Thanks for all the kind words; you are all too nice! The pack is indeed a Kuiu Icon... its a fantastic pack but I recommend keeping the proper bolt tightening equipment in a dedicated pocket because the waistbelt attachment seems terribly prone to unscrewing. As for the boy, while I am currently single, I'll take him hunting any day but no promises of future romance.  :chuckle:

I'll let him know you are at least open to the idea.

I'll look forward to the write up.....I'd be hard pressed to hunt the same areas and keep up with you.
