Okanagan Bear Hunt
« on: July 07, 2012, 09:26:43 AM »
I just got around to posting some pictures from my spot and stalk bear hunt last month. Took a very nice black in the mountains just above the Okanagan Valley. My 1st spring bear and I'm very happy. Should make a nice mount or rug. Took him out of some grass/clover meadows just off some large power lines. Took a nice chocolate bear 2 evenings later in the same general area too. It was nice having my son up hunting with me instead of being alone.

Thanks, yes I'm hunting over the border about 10 miles. I think all the animals I've taken are from Washington though???? I can see Molsen from the top of the mountain here I've been hunting. Hope to draw a tag and hunt on OUR side for something soon. Here's the other bear we took. Nice color!
