That's a great video Jayson! I'm looking forward to my second season archery elk on the west side.  I have a hard time finding material specific to Roosies I'm looking forward to future videos. PS do you have any other material on the Roosies?
Thanks again for a well made video!

That was great, I really enjoyed it. Much better than anything you see on TV.

When will you be posting part 2?

wt, we have the video of my 2010 muzzleloader roosey hunt where I call two bulls in.  I have been debating on whether I want to put a calling Roosevelt video together.  Would there be an interest?  Kind of like an online seminar.

We are shooting for next Monday for part 2.

Corey, sounds like a plan.  I am always game to watch and learn about Roosevelt Bulls (especially what works for others).

Woodchuck, what?  That was just a random spot we split the hunt. :chuckle:

That bull was at a whopping 6 or 7 yards.  He sat there for over 6 minutes broadside before he moved.  Is it September yet?

Right on Jason, Tyson!

I'm not sure I could have passed that bull that came right in! That would have been some awesome kill footage too!  How far was he? Maybe 20 yards?   Keep up the good work, I can't wait to see part 2!

Until you said you don't normally pass on bulls, I thought you just hadn't draw back yet before he was on you and were stuck.

JPhelps, I took a look at your ML video, good move on reloading immediately. I've had two guys tell me of their personal experience downing big bulls, "for sure" and not reloading, to see them get up with an empty gun in hand. One of them recovered the bull. I would be interested on some lessons online or otherwise, and some specific guidance on your calls(I don't own one yet). I live in north king county just off of I-5 and could offer my shop as a place to get people together. It's not posh but it is a proper shop, and while the hunting's not good in this area, I'm sure there are a lot of hunters living around here (population center)that may have an interest. Food for thought. PM if you have any specific questions. Oh ya, part 2 sounds good :)

Great video Jason. I've been trying to explain what Roosie hunting in Western WA is like to my hunting buddies back in AK and you've summed it up here. Admittedly I've never had a bull come in and present a shot like that but that has to be some pretty rare footage you have.

Very well done

Ah yes, the double punch of the record. It was funny when we went to take a look at the footage and it just wasn't there lol. HOPEFULLY that doesn't happen to any of us again, cause I got to see just how frustrated Jason was afterwards and I don't want that to be me.  :chuckle:
