If your anything like us you spend every day of the year thinking about getting back into the woods to hunt elk.  Here is a video to help hold you over. 

Join Tyson Drevniak and Myself as we hunt Roosevelts here in our backyard.  This is part one in a two video series.

That's a great video Jayson! I'm looking forward to my second season archery elk on the west side.  I have a hard time finding material specific to Roosies I'm looking forward to future videos. PS do you have any other material on the Roosies?

That was great, I really enjoyed it. Much better than anything you see on TV.

When will you be posting part 2?

wt, we have the video of my 2010 muzzleloader roosey hunt where I call two bulls in.  I have been debating on whether I want to put a calling Roosevelt video together.  Would there be an interest?  Kind of like an online seminar.

We are shooting for next Monday for part 2.

Thats pretty good vid... looks all to familiar though!.... :o..  Some good footage, Next time i am in your area, I will show u my footage from last year, its funny how simaliar it is..  :tup:  The clear cut call in, is nice, clear as a bell for the camera, seems like most ours is in the thick chit, so its a little dark pictured..  Good work!..

Corey, sounds like a plan.  I am always game to watch and learn about Roosevelt Bulls (especially what works for others).

Woodchuck, what?  That was just a random spot we split the hunt. :chuckle:

That bull was at a whopping 6 or 7 yards.  He sat there for over 6 minutes broadside before he moved.  Is it September yet?
