Nimrod packs?

I have one of their packs used it for 2 years now.  Only issue I have is the water bottle holder is a pain in the butt to get to...

If I would have bought it at the show last Friday when I was there it would have cost me about 330 bucks.  If I duy it now its going to be over 400 with tax and shipping.

I believe the Yakima show is this weekend or maybe next. Perhaps you can still get the show price.

Its not that the show price is better its uf I got one last week at the show I wouldn't have to pay shipping or tax.

i have the bino stap and caddy and its amazing comfortable good camo and keeps binos safe and study even running. great product and comfortable and great customer service.

I ised to work with the owners kid we got them to pack our deployment gear tough and sturdy great gear bags!

Gosh, I guess I'll be the only nay-sayer...

Perhaps their hunting packs are a lot better than the wildland fire packs I used from them seven or so years ago... but they were TERRIBLY uncomfortable, and it seemed it took the entire fire season to finally figure out a way to make all the straps and adjustments even sort of work to your benefit. Large, meduim, and small-bodied frames all gave them either a neutral or a thumbs down as far as our crew's concensus. Perhaps they have come a long ways... and I do enjoy supporting local companies..

They are day packs only, and a very comfortable pack frame. They don't make a pack for back country hunting. Thanks for the heads up on the fire gear, Hirshey, I was thinking about getting their setup for this season, guess I'll look around more. What fire web gear do you like?

If I recall correctly the nargear groper air ops is the bees knees... Super comfy, nice water bottle holders, plenty of packing space, solid construction... The list goes on. They are made by an ex-jumper... I think they even make non-fire packs but I haven't seen them anywhere yet.

I use their guide pack for my day pack and really like it.

Thanks guys, I was trying to decide between True North and Nimrod. I was leaning toward Nimrod because I like my day pack and pack frame so much. I will check out Nargear, and give True North another look.

I have a couple of the Nimrod back scabards that I use for predator calling, best piece of gear I ever bought.  Works well on skis, snow shoes, bike and just hiking in a long way for a stand.
