Nimrod packs?

I'm thinking about getting their big phanny pack this week at the show in Portland. They seem to be the only high end pack that fits my skinny @$$ well.  Are they worth the money?

I have a fleece Jacket and pant set that I bought from them back when the Sportsman show was in the "King Dome"   and they are still holding together (shrank a little)...great Quality......

Nimrod makes nice stuff. It seems like I'm buying something new every year from them. Fanny pack, bino strap, bino cover, range finder holster etc. I like them and their stuff has not failed me yet.

I've used their pack/ fanny pack system for 10 or so years. It has performed perfect and I have carried some serious weight in it without issues. I highly recommend them.

That thing took a beating in AK and probably should pursue getting it replaced, but I packed out 180 pound thighs/quarters on it.  Not estimated, I weighed them.    I figured if any pack could handle that.......    busted a couple ribbitts but...

I have their Pinnacle day pack, love it. Bought the aluminum pack frame to haul loads. Great system, very functional day pack. I have owned Eberlestock, kelty, Blacks Creek, sold them all and use Nimrod now.

I have the Pinnacle, the Guide pack, the pack frame and meat bag, as well as several accessories, and I love it all. The most comfortable pack I've ever worn. The only complaint I have is, they don't have a large, overnight type system yet.

I looked at them again Friday at the show in Portland I'm going to get one I'm just not sure which one.  I'm thinking about the apex I think that's what its called.  Its the pinnacle and guide pack combined.

The Apex is what I started with, great set up. Look into the pack frame also, most comfortable pack frame I've ever worn.

I don't see myself using the whole pack at once but its nice you can enter charge packs and use one that fits your needs that day.

I never use both bags at once. I use the one that makes the most sense for the hunt or the day. The versatility is unmatched. Being waterproof and quiet is real nice too.

I have their bino straps and bino covers and I also have their IA fire pack. If i was looking for a hunting pack i wouldnt hesitate buying one of theirs. I wore my IA pack probably 20 hours in my 40 hour work week sometimes 12 to 13 hours at time on a fire with at least 35lbs + 2 rolls of 1 1/2 hose on it. I love the wide lower back pad, fully adjustable in any way you can imagine, durable and held up great all summer long. A+ customer service to boot
