Would be nice to draw that tag every year.

Nice video.  Cool cat at the end.  I assume that's the one you just finished mounting?

When I referred to "they" I was implying WDFW.  I am also just guessing where I think he is at. Only bh45 knows whether it is private or public.

Hey now I was just sharing some good video of some really nice bulls but unfortunately they are all diciest ...and one was poached  :bash: :bash: :yike: Yeah that 8x9 was standing right below my tree stand every night up to Sept 1st ...He is the one I was after ....On Sept 3 rd I was in my stand at about 3:15 and at 3:45 early evening I hear bugling going off behind me ...lots of branches braking ...by now my knee are shaking and my heart was out of control :bdid: all my years of hunting I never thought I might fall out of a tree hunting :dunno: :chuckle: :chuckle: So now I am trying to control my breathing and get calmed down before they come out into this clearing ...they are in some seriously thick stuff right now but are definately coming out ...All the sudden cows start coming to my stand and he is screaming his arz off ....I could hear him beating the sheet out of a tree so now I am calmed down just a little and next thing I know I see horns a plenty and sheet hanging all over his rack ...a buddy is across the clearing running my camera ...he is sheeting his pants ..cant ya tell .. I cut out alot of tape because he was shaking more than me and videoing the freakin tree instead of the elk ...as the bull comes to me I am in shock ...its not my 8x9 but another bull I have been watching a mile down the road ....WTH ...now I am faced with the decision to kill this bull or wait for my 8x9 to show up ...I decide you have to whack this one now so I draw my bow ...shaking badly  :sry: :dunno: he walks up to me at 40 yrds shaking briars from his head and whack ...the 100 gr WASP SMOKES HIM ..he runs about 80 yrds and stands there...you could see him in the video ready to flop over but makes it to the timber ...I wait 45 min .and sneak in on him and as I came around a cedar stump we met face to face and  :yike: he jumps up and takes off ... :bash: :bash: I was in shock when I was standing in a 3 foot circle of blood which I know was about 3 to 4 gallons worth ....and all the sudden I hear craaaaaaaaaash ....I ran down there and sheet my pants  :yeah: I call a couple buddies to help pack him out ...it was the coolest freakin hunt I ever been on  :yeah: My bull kicked the 8x9 s butt and ran him off but as we were going to see my bull and get ready to quater him up ....guess who was stirring us in the eye ....YEP the 8x9 ... I really wanted that bull and thought for sure he had my name on him but guess not .....So 3 days later someone poached him  >:( >:( >:( I was sick !! :yeah: and the bad part was he ended up dieing right in the middle of someones driveway with the owners watching the whole thing going down ... so guess who got him now ? The tribes !!!!!! :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: and I also know my bull scored better but it would of been nice to have that non typical !!!
