Can't wait, season is just days away. My buddies son is just 11 today and has two longbeards under his belt with a few misses, it happens. Good luck to everybody this youth season. Yelp I hope you get your son his first bird! Post pics when you get them.

While my kids aren't old enough to enjoy youth season just yet I will be heading out on opening day. I look forward to hearing how the conditions were and all the success (or not) that everyone had.

This will be my boys first year behind the gun. I have everything packed just waiting for friday to roll around so we can leave.
Hopefully we will be posting pics and a success story soon. I am going to try to catch the hunt with my gopro camera. Fingers crossed!

Heading out for my daughters first turkey hunt, can't wait. We found em last weekend and a nice deer shed too. Practiced shooting while sitting and she is dead on, now we just need a bird and the weather to cooperate.

I wish I could join all of you this weekend but it just isn't going to happen this year. I'll be taking my son later in the month. I hope everyone has some good weather and a safe time.

More excited for Saturday than any opening day I've had With more practice and a little more age behind her my daughter has gottten over her fear of recoil and the dreaded 'miss'. She's fully ready and excited about being behind the gun. Just one more miserable day of work til we can get on the road. Good luckto the rest of the youngsters getting ready to jelly some heads!
