I saw a bunch of mule deer near palouse falls yesterday which the bucks were growing their antlers already. Spring must be coming

Crazy. I'm still waiting on a few hold outs to drop around here. This is my first year actively persuing sheds, but it seems these mulies are completely unpredictable. Some were dropping in January and some are still packing. Is that normal?

the biggest whitetail bucks I have ever scouted in my life have had considerable growth by mid May..the last one had 100"+ 6x5 in Mid may
