This brings up a great question:
If you had a choice of getting a boat for salt water or a river boat what would you choose and why?

Most rivers you can find spots to fish from shore.  Yeah it can be crowded when the fishing is good, but if you have a flex schedule or days off during the week why get a river boat.  Me, I bought a boat for the sound and ocean on flat days.  Nothing like it.  I hit the rivers from shore and have a few spots that arent too crowded.  It all depends where your passion is.

Saltwater, I don't like crowds when I am trying to enjoy my time. I can start up the boat and go somewhere away from the masses. When you fish most rivers you and everyone else are fishing the best slots for fish. To much of a hassle for me. :twocents:

Rivers, if you have a sled or a db, you can fish year 'round. :twocents:
