New Bear Anarchy Ready To Rock!!!
« on: April 09, 2012, 01:24:53 AM »
Well Saturday was a great day.

I got my new bear anarchy all setup and ready to rock and roll. Let me tell you what this is one killer bow! One of the best new bows I have shot in a very long time. It is smooth as butter, very light and forgiving! This bow was built for the people!!! Bear listened to the the people! They wanted a longer ata bow with a more forgiving brace height. Bears answer was the anarchy! In a world of shrinking bows and shrinking brace heights refuse to follow and choose the anarchy!

Ibo is 340 with a 35 1/4"ata with a 7 1/4" brace.
The bare bow comes in at only 3.8lbs!
With my setup right now I am running right at 299 fps at 71lbs.

I threw on a 3/16 radical archery designs peep sight. Bryan is making a killer peep sight and I am very impressed with the finish on this peep sight. Make sure you guys check them out when you are looking for a new peep!

The bow is setup with a micro revolution rest which tuned up faster then any drop away rest I have ever played with! Very silent and easy to use. There is zero chance the arrow will ever fall off once locked into shooting position!

My sight is the Micro Alpha v5.

The stabilizer is a shockstop deluxe.

I am very impressed with this new bow from bear. It's driving tacks and I am very surprised with how light it is. I figured it would have some hand shock from vibrations being that light! I was wrong! It is smooth as butter and holds very true. I can't wait to smack some critters with this bow this year! If you guys are looking for a new bow make sure you shoot this one! Plus check out trophyridge archery products for your accessories

Looks like a Sweeeet setup!  I couldnt afford a new bow this year so I am having XXX do a full tune on my baby and Corey talked me into trying the revolution rest.... :chuckle:  Its a change for me as I have shot a TT for over ten years so we will see how it performs.  8)

I have been shooting a tt on my hunting bow for the last 4 years. I have had a few small problems with mine. Nothing really bad but most were on the range. I am really in love with this design on this rest. I will be putting a few thousand arrows threw it this year and I am sure it will help me give a few animals a dirt nap.

:yeah:   Thats funny... same here. Part of the reason im trying something new. They have been very reliable for me in the field... but I have had to tinker a bit to tune out some "bounce", from time to time, and it didnt pick up a couple on the practice range. Something I didnt want to have happen in "the moment" :chuckle:.. Nothing huge, and I looked at the  TT FC as another option. But the design has me intrigued and looks well built. And the price point wasnt terrible   Good shooting I will be there with ya!

For sure it really is a breath of fresh air. I do not like short bows and they are whippy as heck! So to have this ata and brace and still have a ibo of 340 is great!

I put about 50 arrows threw it from 20-50 yards tonight. WOW this bow is amazing me. I don't think I have ever had a bow that sits on target and is so smooth to draw and hold.

Have you shot a Hoyt? :)  Just kidding.  I really like my Maxxis 35 for similar reasons but it is great to hear that Bear is making a good bow again.

I own about 12-20 bows at any given time. I burn threw more bows then 99.9% of the people out there. Heck in the last month I have got rid of 5 and got 3 new ones. Number 4 is on the way and 5 is going to be built in the next month or so. So yes I have shot a hoyt :chuckle: Owned more then a few as well. I have owned just about every bow brand out there and until yesterday I had 10 different brands sitting here. This new bear is one of the best new bows I have shot hands down.

Anyone looking for a new bow needs to shoot this bow. I have been shooting it each day and the more I shoot it the more I fall in love with it. Not very many bows out there really grab me like this one. Most I could get rid of the next day after I have shot them. This bow will be staying with me!!!

I know Carp.  I was giving you a hard time. :chuckle:  Btw, have you shot any of the carbon bows by Hoyt for comparison purposes?
