I have a wild life 1000 and it works fine. I was, thinking about getting the garmin astro 320.  I was wondering if it is worth switching to?

More than worth it! I run both telemetry and garmin collars but most are ok just running garmin collars as long as you got a good road system and don't have country you're going to lose your dogs in for more than a day. The garmin collars only last 24-36hrs and you have to recharge them. It will save you TONS of time and gas money searching for dogs having the Garmin Astro 320, or 220.

I would say if you have the one get the other and run them both. We lost a dig off the rez and couldn't find them because the collars died.  The dog ended up dead and all collars where missing.

By using the 320 you'll end up saving enough in gas money to pay for the 320 in pretty short order.

Yeah we was pretty mad, a woman found him called us to meet and it took to long to get there so she turned him loose and we never seen him again till we found him dead. He was a young dog really turning it on too.
